The site itself comprises fifteen acres of well-landscaped grounds. With a pleasant
mixture of open grassland and woodland walks it contains a wide variety of plant and animal life. The delightful holiday lodges, stylishly decorated and furnished, offer a truly peaceful and tranquil holiday. They are superbly positioned on the banks of one of the two coarse fishing lakes on site. The lake in front of the lodges is for the exclusive use of guests staying in the lodges.

The site is in a totally  rural setting and yet is only a short drive away from the historic city of York. There are many local attractions to suit all ages these include: York Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre, National Railway Museum, Water World, Golf Courses, National Nature Reserves & the Coast within easy reach. There is also an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, cinemas and theatres that can be enjoyed.
